[Industry First!] New technology developed for soldering! *Patent pending
Xenon lamp type allows for heat quantity and position control equivalent to or greater than that of laser type!
Key Points: Power Control Co., Ltd. (Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture) has newly developed a non-contact soldering device using xenon lamps. By utilizing xenon lamps, a high-precision work stage, and a shutter that opens and closes in synchronization, it achieves high-precision mounting equivalent to or better than laser systems. This can be realized with a small investment for high productivity. Background: Until now, some power devices that are weak against thermal stress and analog devices that handle large currents have raised concerns about damage due to thermal stress during reflow mounting, leading to manual soldering. Although high-precision automatic machines using lasers, which allow for localized heating and reduce thermal stress on devices, are commercially available, they require a significant investment.
